Before I even start this post I am just going to put it out there: In no way am I a professional make up artist, I can just about manage to make myself look half decent so this tutorial and look is what I like, and what I do.

A Three Step Review
Friday, 10 July 2015
Some people are blessed with perfect skin, but sadly, I am not. I'm not saying my skin is the worst in the world, but it is far from perfect. Spots are the bane of my life. There is nothing like waking up to a small mountain on your face, bliss. (I am being sarcastic of course)
Seeing as I am 20 years old I thought I would have perfect, clear and smooth skin by now, but apparently it doesn't work like that. After reading lots of reviews on different skin care to get rid of blemishes I decided to try the Clinique 3 step 'Anti Blemish' System.
After nipping to my nearest Clinique counter the lovely lady assured me this system would work the best on my skin. I paid £25 for 3 products which would last 4 weeks. A little pricey but something I was willing to pay to try and get some results. The products looked easy enough to use, cleanse, tone and moisturise.
My first impressions were good. The cleanser left my skin feeling fresh and clean, the toner made me feel like my pores were tighter and the moisturiser seemed to, well moisturise. The only negative at this point is that the products do smell of alcohol slightly, which may lead to you think they're being too harsh on the skin, but overall they did not make my skin any dryer than it originally was.
I used the 3 step system day and night for 4 weeks, until my products ran out. I think it did improve my skin, but it didn't work any miracles. I feel as though even though I still got some spots, they went down quicker and were less red and angry on my face. I think using this product for a longer period of time may have a more drastic effect on the skin. What I should say is within the first week of using it, I broke out, lots. I did expect this though as the products dig deep into your skin and draw out any impurities underneath.
Although I feel like the system helped with my skin, I have now moved on to La Roche Posay 3 step system which is supposed to be much kinder on your skin. Stay tuned for a review on this in upcoming weeks!

This is the first time I am ever uploading a video to my blog, I am actually pretty nervous. Making a video has made me notice a few things;
1. It is not easy
2. Do I really sound like that?- I hate the sound of my own voice it makes me cringe!
I also apologise for my camera keep focusing in and out, like I said I am no professional but a few of you asked for a tutorial for when I did my hair the other day. So here it is, my first ever blog- How to: Toilet roll curls-enjoy and ignore my awful northern accent!
Let me know what you think in the comments

Instagram is my favourite social networking site and I am constantly checking it and uploading my ever move to it (with a few exceptions)- so I thought I would share my Insta life lately.
1. This picture of my hair is from when I decided to try curling my hair with toilet roll, yes, seriously. The results were amazing and I absolutely loved the curls I ended up with. This no heat hairstyle is such a good way to curl your hair over night.
2. On Saturday me and my boyfriend, Kyle along with his cousin and her boyfriend headed for a day out and ended up in Giraffe. This is a foodie picture I took of my (delicious) Falafel burger and sweet potato fries.
3. I went snowboarding! It was so much fun but I didn't realise how much of a work out it would actually be, and how unfit I am for that matter! Here is me and Kyle sporting our very "flattering" snow outfits.
4. This afternoon me and 16 other members of my family went out for a meal after my cousins birthday party. Kyle snapped this of me looking out of the window and I thought it looked pretty cool.
If you fancy following me on Instagram my name is @emmakellyxxx and my link is also on the side of my page. Leave your links in the comments below and I will check it out too :)

Last week I was contacted by Dee Carpenter PR enquiring whether I would be interested in trying some Inca Oil products. I was sent over a sample of the 'Inca Oil Filler Mask' and the 'Inca Oil Pandora Oil'.
Inca Oil is extracted from the wild plant Sacha Inchi, which is rich in nutrients and essential fatty acids. When reading up on the new products I was about to try, they sounded great.
Filler mask: Promises to nourish hair, making it healthy, manageable and strong. I was excited to try this one as sometimes I feel my hair can be a bit dry.
Pandora Oil: Promises to smooth hair and add softness, something which I am always looking for in hair products.
Method:
I first washed my hair with my usual products, after getting out of the shower I applied the filler mask and evenly distributed it with a comb. After wrapping my hair in a turban (and looking very sexy may I add) I waited 15 minutes so let the mask do its thing. Then I rinsed it out and it was ready to dry.
Just before I dried my hair I adding some of the pandora oil to the palm of my hands and combed it through my hair, making sure to get my split ends. Then just like usual I blow dried my hair.
First Impressions:
Both the filler mask and pandora oil smelt amazing, I am a sucker for nice smelling products and this ticked the box. The constituency of both products again, was great, not too thick and not too thin making it very easy to apply and manage.
Results:
As soon as my hair began to dry, not only did it smell amazing but honestly it was SO Soft I couldn't stop stroking myself like I was a dog. My hair is never very shiny but these products really did help to add a shine to it. I recommend these products to anyone who wants to try something new or just add a bit of nourishment to your hair.

How to: girly day
Tuesday, 3 June 2014
Today me and my friends Emily and Tessa went all out for a girly day, so as my bank balance is crying I, infact are smiling. We started the day off at the House of Makeup in Manchester were I had my toe nails done and Tessa had her finger nails done. Emily went next door and had a deep tissue massage. I treated the girls to their treatments for their birthday presents (aren't I a lovely friend?)
We then made our way to selfridges and towards the Mac counter (dangerous, I know) where we each had our makeup applied by a professional and then got £30 worth of products (£42 in my case, oops). I purchased a beautiful lip liner, lipstick and bronzer, I shall do a post on them soon.
After we were fully pampered we went to go get food at the Olive press, it was my first time here and I loved it. It is such a cute little Italian place with the nicest food and for a reasonable price, who can grumble? As I was driving I stuck to coke whilst Emily and Tess drank Prosecco ( and got a little bit drunk). I had the duck pizza which was ammaaaazing, and also the mini donuts because I am obsessed with desserts.
To say all we did was day was relax, spend money and eat I am now so exhausted and at 18.30 pm in my jammys and in bed. Bliss. I am going to finish off my day watching gossip girl after my tea and eating a massive bar of chocolate, why not?
What I wore:
Jeans: h&m £12
Cami top: Topshop £13
Orange floral jacket: Primark £15
Orange/Coral sandals: Primark £8 approx
Matching toe nails
Detail of the jacket, love.
